Maple syrup from New England is so much better I can’t describe it. Amber high grade from Goodrich Maple farms is a staple in our kitchen after having visited. Goodrich sells online direct too, worth every penny. Unreal on a spiral ham.... I’m a fat guy, I know good food 😇

What I hate most about traveling, and what truly sucks the fun out of it for ME....is the ridiculous number of people that are always doing it at the same time.

I don't care how scenic or awesome an area is, driving through it, or visiting it  along with an armada of 50,000 other vehicles and 200,000 other people just makes it suck worse than staying home and cutting grass.   Have you ever wanted a hotdog at a State Fair, but when you got close to the hotdog stand you decided that it just wasn't worth fighting through all the people to get one?   Everything is like that now. Every place is a State Fair.  Every day.

I’ve never been to a state fair and you’re right.  The reason is the crowd.  As we have more free time and no kids we try to schedule everything in the off-season and during the week.  It helps a little.   I like people watching too.  Mostly women😁

I finished work early and was going to go fishing last Wednesday, hooked up and headed to the ramp, and when I got there the parking lot was nearly full and there was 5-7 trucks/trailers waiting to launch.   I'm SO GLAD that I was only a mile from home.   I spun around and went right back home.   Could have driven several miles to a different ramp, but what were the odds that they'd be any different?   And once out on the lake, there they'd all be.    Screw it !

I've seen more than enough people and their cars already.  I'm sick of them all.

We use to go to get togethers with people on the internet and I would go hunting with some.

I hate the mountains and California but kind of like North Carolina. Lived in Louisiana liked it but had family there in the South part of the state.

My mobility and stuff keep me from enjoying stuff I use to. Use to go hunting every year in North Arkansas but hills are just too much.

Was wanting to Pheasant Hunt with my Muzzleloader but it is too hard with one arm.

To me Maple Syrup and Lobster isn’t all that. I use to go to Bars in North East and get Shrimp and stuff. Different yes but *****

Did you get to see a bride running out of Bubba Gump Shrimp in Gatlinburg crying and looking for her new husband??😂  Priceless!

No, but I've seen similar scenes acted out in numerous movies.  I think my favorite was in Steel Magnolias.  Or maybe it was Sweet Home Alabama.

Got in a fight one time in New York City because guy didn’t like my accent. That was the only trouble I really had.

I went nose to nose with a polish dude in New York over how to unload a truck.   I was sho-nuff ready to fight !  Plus had 2 other near donnybrooks during the 4 days I was there.

The people there are confrontational as all hell.   It wasn't just me either, because a fight broke out where we were staying 3 of the 4 days.  People screaming and throwing things at each other everywhere, all the time.
