tjm Posted June 18, 2021 Posted June 18, 2021 What I read on other forums indicates Korean rods are the technology leaders, supposedly building lighter stronger more sensitive stuff than any USA makers with nano this and nano that and even graphene. I think my last St Croix made rod was/is a Cortland FR2000. They got that one right and it still works. dtrs5kprs 1
Bill Babler Posted June 24, 2021 Posted June 24, 2021 Couple of our local guides are on the St. Croix pro program. One told me this morning they discontinued it last week so they both are now mere mortals. Also they told him they at this point are not guaranteeing any rods as getting replacements is impossible. Same deal I was told last week when I called about my broken rod. They are certainly not going to publish that in the New York Times, but if you have 1/2 a brain you know currently replacements are not happening dtrs5kprs 1 http://whiteriveroutfitters.com http://whiteriverlodgebb.com
