The article states "The eagle flew away after drowning the fawn and dragging it to shore. The raptor returned to feed on the deer over the next four days until the only thing left was tufts of hair."

I read that, and was left wanting to see the progressive pictures.   Oh well.

Oh WhatEVER 🙄

Eagles waste plenty where I am.   I've personally seen them drag a striper up on shore, eat the eyeballs and egg sack out of it.....and leave the rest to rot on an island.

Man, in this day and age I don't have time to read articles.  Just show me the video and I'll make my own opinion about things.  😅

Eagles are just glorified vultures.

Tru that at times but they are much prettier.  But I have seen them pick out waterfowl and take them out in the air. Seen a golden take a big jackrabbit and fly away with it. they take what they can get alive or dead. Most animals do including our ancestors.

Speaking of vultures, had to take the dog to the vet this afternoon.  Got stuck in about a 2 mile backup on hwy 71 on the way to the vet.  Right off the side of the road was a road killed deer.  About 8 vultures around it chowing down, hopefully no one seeing it got traumatized.  😁
