When do the white bass typically start biting good this end of the year?

Are we past the point where they like to bust up the shad in a feeding frenzy?

Typically it is a week or so before Halloween, and can stay good until after Thanksgiving.

Looking back at my records, October 13 is the earliest day that I have listed for finding whites feeding in the shallows.  Usually they show up above the McCracken Bridge before the main lake.
