#3 bit the dust (peanut butter actually 😂) last night.  And guess what?   #4 showed up.   I never had more than one on the camera and now it’s up to 4.  At least.  Well it’s good sport for a suburbanite😁.
I won’t post the video.  For those wondering not one of them died without a struggle.  You’d think the trap would be SNAP and they’re done.  Not so.

By taking out the residents you're creating a vacuum that new mice will come and fill. We had the same issue with stray cats. Would only see a few at first. Once we removed those cats others came and filled the void. Trapped a bunch until we cleared the local population or they became too smart to be caught. Not sure that you're  going catch all the mice in your neighborhoid. But really not too much harm in trapping more.

I caught the neighbors cat on the same camera.   Definitely not a mouser.  I guess he belongs to peta 😂

This resembles the logic MDC claims in regards to feral hogs.

That's because it's a biological process that happens in all populations of animals.

Might have to back to peanut butter😁

All we have used for the seasonal flood of mice we get in the house is PB. Can't go wrong with a sure thing!

I baited with cheese last night.  #4 showed up but no interest in the cheese at all.  Not even a sniff.  Might have to back to peanut butter😁

My grandmother swore by a pinch of flour or cornmeal.    When they try to get the last little bit inside the curly thing is when they get the WHACK!

Smart ones avoid things that smell strong because eating it makes it easier for predators to find them.  It also overrides their own sense of smell and causes them problems. Mice use their noses to navigate and stay out of trouble.

Ole Vern loved cheese until he bit the dust....😂

#4 but the dust last night.  #5 backpedaled out of the second trap.  Clearly he is a trained ninja.😂. And!!!!!   The rat I saw initially showed up to. 🙁.  He took one sniff of those traps and bolted.   Both traps had already trapped mice and I wonder if he smelled them.
