cheesemaster Posted November 7, 2021 Posted November 7, 2021 Put in at sun up and it was foggy as all get out. I threw a buzzbait for a little bit right off the start and had 1 swirl on it and that was it. So I started throwing my spinning reel setup for jerkbaits that’s I was so excited to try. Man that didn’t go as well as I wanted it to - killed my wrist and I didn’t get the casting distance that I thought I would, not to mention it was awkward to say the least. I used it for 15 or 20 minutes and put it away. I got out my standard jerk bait setup and fished until 10:45 with it. Had a good day - caught north of 20 fish. 4 keeper Kentucky’s and 1 keeper walleye and a short walleye. Happy fishing everyone. Johnsfolly, magicwormman, gurzik and 6 others 9
Quillback Posted November 7, 2021 Posted November 7, 2021 I was out there today too, 3 spots and 3 short walleye on the 110 JR, then I caught another 17 spots deep on the drop shot. 3 keepers, but none over 16". Had one good fish on the Junior, I was working it pretty fast, it just stopped, I was working it some trees and for a split second, thought I had snagged a tree, then felt a couple of heavy head shakes and it started moving off pulling drag and then it was off. AAAIIIIIIYEEE!!! I hate when that happens, it is still bugging me, dadgumit! I saw WT of 62. cheesemaster, MarkG52, Royal Blue and 4 others 7

Love the smaller profile this time of year. I will be throwing the 110 after January more. Is that Table Rock Shad that you have pictured there? I have been loving the Norther Special lately.

Yessir that is Table Rock. I have a +1 JR in the Northern Secret too, I haven't thrown the JB's a lot so far because I just haven't been that confident in them, but today they were working OK, so I may be throwing them some more. cheesemaster 1

Members Randy Moore Posted November 8, 2021 Members Posted November 8, 2021 great report - thanks. How deep of water are you fishing the jerk bait in? Are points more productive? Appreciate any support you all can provide. Thank you techo 1
