eyedabassman Posted December 10, 2021 Posted December 10, 2021 When I hit anchor lock it stays on for about 2 minutes , then beeps and it goes off? I did calibration in May .
aarchdale@coresleep.com Posted December 10, 2021 Posted December 10, 2021 from a sit still I hit anchor lock and mine goes in reverse about 10 feet. Ive calibrated a couple times, im going to update software because that will be the first thing Garmin tells you to do and if that doesnt work time to call customer service grizwilson 1
bobby b. Posted December 10, 2021 Posted December 10, 2021 I suggest redoing the calibration. If the problem repeats, call the Garmin Force Help desk while you are out in the boat and they will determine the problem/fix - they have a call back system so you don't have to wait on the phone. archdale - the reported upgrade to fix the reverse issue is the latest or next to latest so you would need to work thru several as I recall one of your remarks on OAF that you did not upgrade software. If this is the case, you would end up doing several upgrades to get to the one you want. In doing so, be careful to wait an extra long time to assure you are done with all of the upgrades. Repowering in the middle of series of upgrades "bricks" the unit - this happened to me even though the Garmin tech was on the phone with me at the time. Also I was advised not to do the latest upgrade as one of the Tech said it had problems. Please let us know if it works if you decide to do it.

aarchdale@coresleep.com Posted December 20, 2021 Posted December 20, 2021 doing the update now, finally got it to connect, no clue why it wouldnt even show up last night on my WiFi. So basically do the update and see if that fixes the spot lock issue. I talked to a buddy last night that has had the same troller since they first came out. His used to spot lock just fine, but he said now it isnt usable, his motor tries to twist the cable in half. He has never done an update either, so it must have lost its GPS signal somehow over the years
