First it was Tempests, then Catalina and finally she bought a GTO in 1971. They were great cars, especially that GTO.
Flysmallie Posted January 24, 2022 Posted January 24, 2022 @Harps has a nice old GTO that he should pop on and talk about. Terrierman 1
ollie Posted January 25, 2022 Posted January 25, 2022 Although mine was a buying experience and not selling, I didn't like it. I get why so many people like it, but not for me. Carvana has been hit with several lawsuits in the past year due to their practices too. My problem didn't happen until almost time to go get the vehicle in KC. I secured the loan and had all my paperwork completed with them only to get mad and cancel the whole thing right before picking up the vehicle. It all came down the title and paying taxes on it. When I pressed them on it no one seemed to be knowledgeable enough to help me. Enough so that when I finally did get someone that knew what was going on they still passed it off like no big deal and that I could pay up front all the money and they would reimburse me on the end side. It was very shady to say the least. They didn't get my invoice correct and then didn't want to change anything on it since I had already signed all the paperwork. All I can say is buyer beware like in anything else. I ended up going to a dealership and getting a better deal on a similar car and my experience was actually better. Better deal, better finance, better car with better options on it as well. All for a lower price to boot! snagged in outlet 3, BilletHead and Terrierman 1 2 "you can always beat the keeper, but you can never beat the post" There are only three things in life that are certain : death, taxes, and the wind blowing at Capps Creek!

snagged in outlet 3 Posted January 25, 2022 Posted January 25, 2022 My buddy at work was looking for a new truck pre Covid. So the both of us tried to find the best deal at the same time. All online through dealers. He got a great deal from Laura in Sullivan. Had to drive a little ways but it was significantly better than anything else we found. I think it was close to $2k better. Ford F-150 btw. It was fun too. Terrierman 1
