And about the Finley.  I cross it multiple times every day and have fished it a bit.  From Linden on down to Green Bridge and from Green Bridge to the park mostly.  I've caught a few that were maybe 15" but not many that size.  But I will say that river has a lot of smallmouth in it.  I was wading down from Green Bridge a couple of years ago and caught 12 smallmouth on 15 casts out of the same eddy.  Ned.  Sorry John and Pete, no pictures, you'll just have to trust me.

Lots of pictures on the web, use what ever measurements you want.

Really pretty fish. I'm new to specifically targeting river smallmouth. I'm hooked though.

Even small fish get a photo😉 especially when it is cold and windy.
