Last week my wife and I took a week of vacation (much needed) and booked a trip with Ed to fish for walleyes. They had been mostly elusive for me, as we only get to Stockton about twice a year.
Fishing with Ed was like fishing with an old friend, rare when jumping in a boat with someone you’ve never met for just a few hours.  He taught us about habitat and lures doing his best to share his talents with us. I’ve had the good fortune to hire guides in the Gulf several times, Wyoming, White river, and others. He’s the first guide I will return to. Thanks Ed for a great day. E2593F29-CBB7-48C1-BD4A-623EDFEB5320.jpeg

Every guide ever wants this response. Well done Ed!

I truly am humbled.  I work very hard to put people on fish.  More than that I want people to have a great day and buy the end of the day my goal is to have new friends.  I can't tell you what this post means to me.  Thank you Scott

There are good guides, and there are great guides. (And mediocre, and bad guides). Congrats to both the guide and the guided for a very successful outing.

Just about all over 12 to 24.  Finding pods of fish with sonar then going over them.
