Dutch Posted May 2, 2022 Posted May 2, 2022 What does it look like around the Marina, up in the river, below Buzzard? Anyone know? I’ll be down there in the morning with my neighbor. I’m wondering if I should plan for the river or bigger water. The last time I was there I clogged up my speedometer pickup and still don’t have all the wood out. dtrs5kprs 1

Not too bad around Buzzard, except I had to go down in the clear water to catch keepers! cheesemaster and dtrs5kprs 2
cheesemaster Posted May 2, 2022 Posted May 2, 2022 On Sunday it was fine. I thought it had good color to it. First thing in the morning there was some floating debris - the debris was short lived after the wind picked up a little.

Bill Babler Posted May 3, 2022 Posted May 3, 2022 We ate at Flat Creek today at 1pm. Looked good up high. Don’t know about Buzzard or where the previous mud line starts. Good James River water may be at Buzzard by tomorrow, ahead of what’s coming http://whiteriveroutfitters.com http://whiteriverlodgebb.com
Dutch Posted May 3, 2022 Author Posted May 3, 2022 Thanks guys the water color was great as was the fishing.
aarchdale@coresleep.com Posted May 3, 2022 Posted May 3, 2022 Bridgeport was a nice green and 62, Point 15 and up the James a couple miles was a little dingy green and 57 good crank bite on a red G5. Flat creek was a nice color too the bridge then up creek from there it was a little muddy but not real bad 57. I did hook a little bass and was reeling it in and then it felt like i hit a log, but the log started pulling and going out into the deep, Im guessing a big cat ate the little bass. It was extremely heavy but then pulled off magicwormman, Quillback and Steve McBasser 3
