nomolites Posted June 25, 2022 Posted June 25, 2022 Not anywhere as good as a couple weeks ago last nite but still caught a few..32 FOW bouncing a white/chart spoon. Caught a bunch of keeper crappie, which is very unusual for me anyway with this technique, and a few nice blue cats. Pictures of a couple fish. Will try again tonite or tomorrow morning…looked like some fish were suspended in the same range and if so I will drag some cranks through them. Mike Seth, conorsixtakc, Greasy B and 4 others 7
fishinwrench Posted June 26, 2022 Posted June 26, 2022 Not bad! After getting my flutter spoon lesson a few weeks ago I spent +60.00 on spoons.....and haven't been able to get a spoon bite going since. Day before yesterday I got on a good shallow bass bite and had four over 3lbs. and 7 keepers total in 4 hours before I ran out of logs to throw at. Went out the very next day and do you think I was able to pull it off again in a different creek? Noway! But I did locate a school of whites and mutts that saved the day. Went out again in the sauna this evening until dark, with the fly gear.......Miserable! 2 dinks and one decent White. 2 really good days, back to back, seems impossible to pull off lately. It seems like a pattern is only good for about 12-16 hours. snagged in outlet 3, conorsixtakc and nomolites 3
nomolites Posted June 26, 2022 Author Posted June 26, 2022 I went out last night and it was pretty poor…caught a couple crappie and a drum. There were shad and fry everywhere I looked, just could not locate any larger fish other than crappie. That’s fishing. Mike Daryk Campbell Sr and snagged in outlet 3 2
Members Walleye13 Posted June 26, 2022 Members Posted June 26, 2022 Nice fish, good report Mike. Stay after em! Sounds like Ameren going to slow down the flow in a few days with Truman getting near normal
Members Walleye13 Posted June 26, 2022 Members Posted June 26, 2022 Dandy fish Wrench! Totally agree that it’s been difficult to stay on a pattern for more than a day or two. Maybe because the water warmed up so fast? Went from 70 to low 80’s real quick. Seems like there are still late spawning largemouth just getting out on some of the points.
Seth Posted June 27, 2022 Posted June 27, 2022 Couple guys in our river club caught 22lbs in USA Bassin the week before. Pretty sure they were out deep too. Still only got 2nd. Big bags been getting caught lately. fishinwrench 1

This is why things (in the tournament world) need to change. Hauling around, Putting them through the Weigh-in process, Relocating (and potentially killing) perfectly good 2-3 pounders by the truckload......for NO REASON AT ALL. 😔 Why are they still doing this in every body of water, 4-5 times per week? 🤔 mschmls 1
