oneshot 1 Posted September 19, 2022 Posted September 19, 2022 Was just thinking of the Hurricane in Puerto Rico. It don't matter in the world where you are there is bad weather every so often but most of the time weather is what you expect. Lived in the mountains had 160 inches of snow on the ground. Lots of snow and really don't have that much normally but hey it's the mountains it's supposed to snow. Lived in Louisiana didn't have no Hurricane but it rained. You didn't drive off the road. Came home one day Mailman was buried to his axle in his Jeep at our Mailbox. Most the South and Tropics are warm but it can get nasty. Here is nice little of this and a little of that but most the time it is good. oneshot
ColdWaterFshr Posted September 19, 2022 Posted September 19, 2022 Somewhere in the midst of that meteorological soup of statements, swirling in the skies above us, like a leaf from the top of a tall tree, there is a point trying to make a safe landing. 😂 bfishn 1
oneshot 1 Posted September 19, 2022 Author Posted September 19, 2022 Funny setting at work watching Radar. To me I'm just watching a screen but in actuality where I see a Tornado someone is having problems. I was going to Yoga classes. The Instructor was saying move like a Palm Tree, and used her Arm showing a tree moving. I'm always thinking if a Palm Tree is moving like that something is going on not good. oneshot

What is the point of "extended forcasts"? Why do they even bother trying, when 70% of the time they can't even accurately predict 48 hours into the future?

As far as outdoor activities 🎣 are concerned, extended forecasts can serve to either: 1. Build up our hopes. 🌞 or 2. Crush our dreams. ⛈️ fishinwrench and Johnsfolly 2

Because people have to hear it every single night from the same actor on TV. Then they watch Wheel of Fortune and drift off to sleep.
