Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted January 13, 2023 Root Admin Posted January 13, 2023 I'm going to try tying in a colored section of line, just to see if I can "see" the bite better. I would think adding floatant wouldn't be a bad idea in that case.
Daryk Campbell Sr Posted January 13, 2023 Posted January 13, 2023 https://anglersemporium.com/products/owner-complete-microfishing-rig This shows a rig used in micro fishing that has colored threads that can be ran up or down your line to see strikes underwater. Not sure if this is something you are trying to duplicate. Bobber stops could also be used as strike indicators underwater. Money is just ink and paper, worthless until it switches hands, and worthless again until the next transaction. (me) I am the master of my unspoken words, and the slave to those that should have remained unsaid. (unknown)

If I may... instead of tying in a colored line take two or three or four small pieces and... take a piece and lay it parallel to the main line; then tie a double surgeons knot; then trim the tag ends to the length you want, but you can still see them. This way you can still see the line, the main line is still fully intact, and you can just cut the tags off when you don't want them anymore. Note... this also works very well for a dropper, just make sure yo use the tag going down line and cut the tag going up line. Daryk Campbell Sr 1
