cheesemaster Posted January 28, 2023 Posted January 28, 2023 Went for about 3 hours. Put in at 8 and done at 11. Wind was getting pretty bad but the fishing was good. Caught 6 with 5 keepers - ended with 2 that went 3lbs one that went 2.5 and a couple that were just at 15”. It’s been a while since I was out - I definitely need to get out more. So here are three of them. All on a jerk bait. Didn’t check water temp - couple feet of visibility and color was great in my opinion. Dock-in-it, Royal Blue, Smithvillesteve and 10 others 13
Bassin4fun Posted January 29, 2023 Posted January 29, 2023 Nice fish! I am thinking of launching there tomorrow in the yak. Wind will be out of the north and colder. Bite may be tough. Shouldn't be as windy as it was today though. I caught 8 today but only 1 keeper. I caught them on jerkbait and Rock Crawler. cheesemaster 1

Quillback Posted January 29, 2023 Posted January 29, 2023 Good on you for getting out there! I stayed home and watched hoops, I hate the wind in the winter. cheesemaster and grizwilson 2
Dutch Posted January 29, 2023 Posted January 29, 2023 When I saw the post I expected that jerk bait would be mentioned. I wanted to go but I was running out of wood and had to go the farm for a load. Congrats on some good fish. cheesemaster 1
