Look at what they have going on and feel better that you don't have that dose of hurt going on. Boy you said a mouthful there !!!! I've been doing a ton of research, and a lot of the cases make me think ....."My God, how can that poor person withstand such agony?" Not only that, but who is keeping their home and family afloat (the wolf away from the door) while they are undergoing all that miserable crap? I mean, there has to have been a point where they truly wanted to go to sleep.... and just not wake up. Ya know ? 😢 I don't think I have it in me. I really don't. I hurt for so many people that the mere mention of (you know who...☝️) makes me wanna throw things. It's all I can do to keep my mouth shut......And I sincerely hope that all the (you know who's😇) in my life, can appreciate it when I do. It's really hard.....No.... IMPOSSIBLE!... to truly enjoy life and be thankful for my own personal good fortune......when SO MANY OTHERS are suffering. It just breaks my £✓¢¥ing heart. 😔 Whew! Got into my feels a little too deeply there.....Sorry. I'll be back to my normal smartass self in the morning. 😉 JestersHK 1
jdmidwest Posted February 20, 2023 Posted February 20, 2023 I had a wife that worked, short term disability, and great insurance. I was able to work 6 weeks after surgery first round and used up all 6 months second time. I stayed in a room provided my the American Cancer Society for 6 weeks in chemo, no motels or daily commute. The hospitals have social service programs to help those that need financial assistance. My kids were grown, my bills were few, and my travel was limited. It was not a burden for me. We have a guy at work in late thirties, wife fighting terminal brain cancer. He comes in when he does not have to take care of kids from lack of sitter and works. From the office, he looks like a normal guy. But, he is going thru hell keeping it all together. And still make a living with my silver tongue. But, I am not without hurt as to the pain you are suffering. You are hurting more than me at this point. Keep up the fight. Since that torture, 4 of my grandbabies have been born and I have seen lots of great things. And I have met many new friends. It is like this there is always someone worse. Back when I was younger use to pick the Big One. Sometimes I would get my head busted. Went to a Street Dance. Guy knocked out couple of my buddies. Cops stopped me from getting to him. I wasn't thinking of the fact he hit twice and knocked out two guys. oneshot
oneshot 1 Posted February 23, 2023 Author Posted February 23, 2023 Well they got Dye and I took a Valium and some other drugs. Slept when I was awake stuff either came to me or pulled away. The car even went sideways. oneshot
MOPanfisher Posted February 28, 2023 Posted February 28, 2023 Well hopefully thus is my last slice and dice for a while. 3 tries and I think they mostly ran out of skin in my ear to remove. Gonna let it heal a couple weeks then see if they want to take some skin nearby and graft it over. I tell ya I am tired of this and ready for some dang fishing! JestersHK 1

fishinwrench Posted March 1, 2023 Posted March 1, 2023 Started my lip healing process 4 days ago. The stuff burns like a SOB for 20-30 minutes after application..... nothing fun about it for sure. But if it works it will be better than a dozen trips to the dermatologist at 1-2k per visit. The twice daily process will go on for 3-4 months (possibly more) 🙄. Total cost= 780.00 JestersHK and Terrierman 2

I ain't faking a smile for nobody! When I say that the BEC5 burns.......I mean, it doesn't just sting a bit for a few seconds.......NO, It soaks in and immediately sets off every nerve ending within 3 inches of my lip like a mouthful of firecrackers, and it takes me about 20 minutes just to stop crying. Smiles and laughter don't resume for about 2 hours. Terrierman and JestersHK 2
