The biggest bag I can ever remember in a tournament was just a hair over 33lbs all caught on a jerkbait way before the rig came out

Bill Davenport was really a good stickbait and jig fisherman.  Even had a particular jig named after him.  I don't remember the name of the jig company that made it.  He used to team up with Marcus Sykora and fish tournaments together.  I don't know if Davenport is still alive or if he fishes tournaments anymore.

Yea I caught 14 inch Bass easy. I threw them back. 

I thought they had to be 15 inches.

We had a kayak tournament there on Saturday. I think I had at least 10 and probably more that were in that 14-14.75" range. I caught about 50 bass. Only 2 were over 15".

Well once I found out I could keep them caught my limit. 

They was feeding on Shad. Just used a small Spinner.

 

Use to be everyone kept Bass. Not so much anymore but I fish for the Frying Pan.

Better than one guy he was catching Musky, cut their head off and throw them back. I'll eat them just have to deal with the bones.
