Would seem to me that if you're setting traps where lots of people (whether Thieves or Preachers) are commonly walking around them.....then your results are likely to suck anyway. The guys I know that did a lot of trapping just accept the fact that they are gonna lose a few occasionally. Hell, they own enough traps to fill a dump truck with them. I don't ever remember them fretting over losing a few. I coon hunted with them some, but they never wanted COMPANY when running their traps......so I never learned much about it.
Seth Posted March 4, 2023 Posted March 4, 2023 Auto renewal is the way to go for this stuff since you need it every year. Just make sure your credit card info is up to date! If your card doesn't work, they send you an email letting you know. I think they do this three times before it stops trying to renew automatically. I thought about buying a lifetime hunting and fishing license for the convenience of not having to buy a new one every year, but this makes that a bit pointless. I'll wait till I'm 60 before buying that when it's dirt cheap. awhuber 1

I don't always have my phone in my pocket, and I don't wanna spend any more time hanging out with the dude than is absolutely necessary. The gas station that I stop at daily still sells printed permits. I'm old school. Seth 1

I kept a laminated copy on me for several years after they came out with the app, but I never used it a single time and quit messing with it.
