I know there’s lots of hoarders in this group. I’m looking for some of those 410 shells you have stored away that you should have sold years ago. Any shot size but prefer #6.

One is ever for sure a 6. I have no idea what that ribbed one is but I’ve had it ever since I carried a 410. I got a 20 gauge for Christmas when I was 12. That was 42 years ago. I guess I might as well hang onto them forever now.

Yes sir. Those are so old the powder has probably turned to fossils.

Gun show 2 weeks ago had lots of them for $45 a box for some off brand foreign jobs.

Local shop has some of the new turkey loads at about $6 a pop.

Its stupid.  I have 3 single shot 410's and one Taurus Judge.  Have not found any for over a year now.  Other than the stupids that hoard them and try to sell at the shows.  I really feel like unloading one on those types.

What amazes me, they are still selling 410 guns.  Even make an AR style auto.  I don't buy anything I can't make go bang when I walk out of the store.

No kidding. I bought 4 boxes at a farm sale recently.  Father in law was at Hobbytime in Bolivar last week and said they had 50 boxes or so for $25 per box. I may run up there tomorrow.  When i was a kid we could get them for $2.00 a box.

The last I bought about 4 years ago for grandson cost $10 for Winchester #6.  Then the covid run on ammo raised it to $25 from legit suppliers.

I bet the 50 boxes are gone by now.

Go to ammoseek.com.  It's a good way to find in stock ammunition.  There are a lot of suppliers who have .410 from $18 per box up to around $25.  Lots of different manufacturers too.

Yes, ammoseek.com is good place to search.  You can save searches and set alerts based on price you would pay.   It will notify you when it gets to that price or below.  But sometimes it will alert you, but the business that is selling the ammo may have an inaccurate price listed on their website.  I set a lot of my alert prices to pre-covid pricing or below.  So I just wait for the alerts to come in.  Have had a few get to those prices once in a while.  Currently though, it was mainly for loose ammo that is out of the boxes.  But prices are slowly going down.  How far down?  Who knows.

So with the alerts it basically does the search for your daily and notifies (email or text) you when your price is met.
