Dutch Posted March 25, 2023 Posted March 25, 2023 As fast as the lake has risen I doubt that any courtesy have been pulled in.
bobby b. Posted March 25, 2023 Posted March 25, 2023 Dutch, I note that you go to Cape Fair often - can you please report debris and water conditions. I live at Indian Point area but pull my boat out of the slip and go to Cape this time of year - my first visit was last Wed and conditions were perfect - hoping it is not totally messed up. From the past, the CF courtesy dock is one of the few that gets moved promptly. Thanks Bobby
Dutch Posted March 25, 2023 Author Posted March 25, 2023 It may be a while before I get back down there. With that much rise I think debris and logs will be everywhere. Stockton is only up a foot so I plan to go there tomorrow. grizwilson and MickinMO 2

Thanks Bobby I live up from Cape a little and it is muddy - debris is bad - but people are running and fishing so it is manageable I guess. I am not putting in - too risky for me. Quillback Posted March 25, 2023 Posted March 25, 2023 Looks like the Corps has pushed the release up to 20K CFS. James is still around 30K but dropping.
Fishrman Posted March 25, 2023 Posted March 25, 2023 Fished today and went I the James. Got above buttermilk and I turned around. Mud mud mud and debris everywhere. Fishing was tough on me today only had 2 keepers and 6 shorts
Bill Babler Posted March 26, 2023 Posted March 26, 2023 Shriner derby out of Kimberling City today. They just flat hammered them. 8.13 was big bass. Best string 5 fish just under 25 pounds. Buddy had close to 14 pounds and never sniffed a check. I think he said 82 boats. They fished a while longer after weigh-in and had a 5 plus and 6 other keeps. Bite was late. All on a swimbait. Tried the murky water and it was dead. Best bite is from Baxter to the Branson Belle in clear water to suspended staging fish. By mid week those fish will be in that off color stuff shallow. The 8 pounder was not in the winning bag. Guy’s that weighed it only had 1 fish. Quillback and Ron Burgundy 2 http://whiteriveroutfitters.com http://whiteriverlodgebb.com
