WOW!  Nice fish Alex.

I miss fishing with my dad something awful.

Get him out there every chance you get.

Great fish!

I was tube fishing a pond in Norman, Oklahoma in 1974. I heard a shot and almost immediately a whizz and splash about 20 feet from me. It happened twice more. I crawled out of the pond and went over the embankment and walked to the next pond.

Bubba was shooting at turtles. The bullets were glancing off the water and over the embankment. When I explained what was happening, it became clear he was clueless.

Isn't Squirrel season closed until the end of May? He should have been sited for that, at least. I mean come on.

I went there too, but they have become such a pest and destroy so much property that you’re not getting in trouble for shooting squirrels.

Needs a pellet gun not a 22 for gosh sakes

Couple of years  ago a friend in STL shot 170 off his deck right in the Lou. Another buddy at Lake O. Shoots close to 250 a year off his deck.  Both use Air Depot pellet guns

Good fishing Alex. Can't say I ever do any good in the rain.I usually head for an open boat dock and wait it out. temp must not have been too bad with you both in sandals.

The answer may not lie at the bottom of a glass, but you should always check

We wore flip flops because I didn’t want my shoes soaked lol. It was about 53 and my feet were froze until the sun came out a little bit
