While the walleye haven't been just jumping in the boat.  With some patience and work. Have been able to put quite a few in the boat over the past 2 weeks.  Averaging around 13 or so a trip with 6 to 11 keepers per trip.  We have been bottom bouncing in the 20 ft range with slow death and harnesses.  Water Temps anywhere from 57 to 62 degrees.  If you get on the right pod of fish u can do some damage quickly.   Other than that it is one here one there.  Wishing you all best fishing.

Thanks for the update!  Two weeks ago I was able to catch a couple of limits on cranks, but haven't been able to go since then.  Hopefully that changes this week.  I know you are very busy and booked for the foreseeable future, but didn't know if you do any guided trips on Truman?  I learned a lot on my last trip and I would like to learn how to fish muddy water.

Thanks!

A buddy of mine and myself went on a trip with Ed last Friday and had a great day on the water.  I was able to get my first limit of walleye which was great!  We had 10 keepers all together.  I highly recommend if you are thinking of taking a trip to learn how to find these fish that you book a trip with him.  A great guide and a great guy to spend a day with.  I learned a lot from the trip.

Thanks for the update will be there this weekend between bottom bouncing and pulling cranks hope to pick a few up. Heading to Lake Erie in a few weeks for some really good walter fishing

I rarely post but read here every day.  Lived in Springfield for 5 years but moved back to Michigan in 2016.  It's been another banner year on the Detroit River and Lake Erie!  Wally limits abound and some real pigs are common.  Hope you enjoy your trip up here!

I have been up there twice in the last week or so. 1st time during a Bass tourn and we had 3 Keeper eyes, All caught on a jerkbait. Thrown into about 5 ft of water on the side of points, jerked into deeper water. Went back with the kids crappie fishing a few days later and tried to replicate it while they had minnows out and boom same thing in the same type of places with the same jerk baits.
