One of my last company cars was a Camry. Those tpms sensors would fail all the time. But it was never more than 20 to 30 bucks to have them replaced at a tire shop. It’s 50 cents worth of hardware. Dealerships need to quit trying to mate with their customers.

I'm in favor of rather high labor rates.   If you want to have a place fairly close to you that can do quality work on your stuff then you should pay them WELL or be capable and willing to do it yourself.

Places that do Auto/Marine service at what most people consider "reasonable rates" won't be in business very long, and won't have employees that show up everyday to do quality work.    It's ok to charge 70.00 to change a valve stem in a wheel/tire if you do it RIGHT.   I'd rather pay that then to pay 20.00 and have my daughters wheel fall off a week later.

It’s not their labor rates that are out of line. I take all my stuff to a very reputable shop in Springfield. I’m not afraid of paying for what something is worth. But I’m not going to bend over and take it either. That’s silly.
