fishinwrench
I haven't been on Pomme for over 15 years, and always pursued green bass when I fished there. But I need a flyrod White bass fix. My end of LO is currently blown out so we found a place to stay for a couple days and I have a milk-run mapped out for morning & evening Whites..... Am I on the right track, or am I likely to strike out ? One guy (local) told me to head further upstream......but He's a walleye troller that catches Whites by accident, and I'm looking for shad-ball chasers and occasional evening surface blitzes. dpitt, BilletHead and nomolites
Dutch
I’d start at Martin Flats. That’s where I’ve seen them most. BilletHead and fishinwrench 1
Dutch
Another place is across from the ramp at Nemo. fishinwrench
Flysmallie
My favorite place is above Bolivar Landing. fishinwrench
Members gwh
We trolled from the west bank from the Nemo ramp to the 64 bridge last week and caught more whites than crappie. They were 10-16' deep. fishinwrench
Ranger520vx
You done good all of the places that you have marked are places that we find them quite often. Unfortunately I haven’t been out fishing for them and haven’t seen a lot of surface activity from them the times I have been out. Good luck hope you get on them. fishinwrench
Ranger520vx
There were a some busting surface where you have the 2 marks on the far left side of the map. Just outside the Wheatland campground this morning. They were just inside the no wake buoys in front of the row of docks by Stillwater Resort. fishinwrench
fishinwrench
Did some visual scouting from land yesterday and saw some activity in the Bolivar ramp area. We'll hit that this afternoon and see how it goes. These roads around here are something else. 😬 It is forecasted to be rather breezy today so I hope to be able to avoid the wide-open areas and still catch fish.
