             Negatory. You ever witnessed when a Squirrel sees an owl, Bobcat, coyote or other predator? It does not have to be flying over or walking on the ground. Chickens, Turkeys, ducks, chipmunks or other animals that have good eyesight.  And ones not seeing it will know something is there because when that squirrel lets out a warning chatter every other squirrel chatters. I do agree it does need to be moved from time to time so they don't get conditioned to it.
