snagged in outlet 3 Posted September 8, 2023 Posted September 8, 2023 I had to work this morning so I couldn’t get out until about noon. I decided to go to a spot I have never been to before because the sun would be high and I could see where I was going. I knew the water would be low and I would need the high sun to get through the shoals in my jump boat. Im glad I waited because I would’ve run a ground several times. I ran about 4 miles and fished my way back. Smallies, spots, largemouth and even a catfish. All on a square bill. Here’s a couple of the nicer ones. 18” and 16”s. Al Agnew Posted September 9, 2023 Posted September 9, 2023 Must have just been a good day for river fishing. A buddy and I floated a 5 mile stretch of a local river this morning, and caught about 40 bass in less than five hours, including a half dozen smallmouth between 17 and 19 inches.
