I tried to find a winter image to show less trees... but this isn't too bad.

It would be neat to put together a book with pre-dam pictures of the White river from Arkansas and MO.  Maybe one exists, if anyone knows of one, let me know.  Tom W. lent me a book that is more about the fishing in TR back in the day, had a couple of pictures, one pretty neat one of the Shell Knob bridge under construction before the lake was created.

I bought a book several years back called "buried by table rock lake"  If I remember correctly there were some pretty good pictures in there, but the book itself was a fascinating read for anyone who may be interested in the history of the region.  It is also a short and easy read, which is my kind of book!

The visitors center at the dam has a bunch.  Plus the short video on the dam.  Pretty cool actually.   Johnny Morris has dozens if not hundreds scattered around all his properties.  It’s the best part of visiting them.
