grizwilson Posted December 8, 2023 Posted December 8, 2023 Put in at State Park about 1030 waited for it to warm a bit. Tried throwing a road runner monkey milk and vertical jigging all fish came on road runner. Fish were near and in structure on the FFS. If the length limit was still 9" would have had 2 plus limits, but it is not so came home with an empty live well. Most fish were in 20-30 FOW about 12-15' down. The wind was a bit brutal, but warmed up and just great day to be out. Face was wind burned but worth it. Sorry I did not note water temp. tight lines g MrGiggles, BilletHead, luckycraft and 6 others 9 “If a cluttered desk is a sign, of a cluttered mind, of what then, is an empty desk a sign?”- Albert Einstein
MrGiggles Posted December 8, 2023 Posted December 8, 2023 Glad to see a recent report, haven't been out in quite a while. Last time I was though it was the same story, lot of just under legal fish. Looks like Stockton may be having another off year for crappie. -Austin
MOPanfisher Posted December 8, 2023 Posted December 8, 2023 I am.contemplating a run to Stockton sat evening and fish from the bank near the dam, jack don't care about a North wind. Wost that is likely to happen is I go home empty handed and that would not be a new experience. bfishn and grizwilson 2
