So what package is best to buy for watching St Louis games?

It’s kind of ridiculous honestly. Our local cable doesn’t offer Bally anymore. You have to get direct tv or Fubo. Both are $80 +. I thought you could get them by paying for the Bally sports + for $20 but the Cardinals aren’t available on there yet. Even though they have the Blues thunder and grizzlies on there. I’m pretty mad about it lol

Everyone here in STL is sideways over it too.   Lots of complaints about the Ballys app not working.   They are in bankruptcy btw.   Outside of the area I think you get them from MLB online.

I’m still undecided whether I want to spend the time and money. Time more than anything. You can do allot of things for 2.5 hours instead of watching baseball.

I'm at the point that I don't watch live sports that often. If there is a game that interests me I'll DVR it then watch the highlights and fast forward the rest. I watch most football games in 30 or 40 mins.

I will note that I really don't watch any baseball anymore.

Listen to the radio broadcast.   That’s what I do most.   I haven’t watched a whole game in a long time.

I get the Royals on Bally, I always record the games and watch them later.  Cuts down on the viewing time.  It's early but the Royals look much improved this year.

I haven't followed baseball in decades, but in the years that I did follow it, I always thought baseball on the radio was a lot more exciting than being there and watching it on TV was an excuse for a nap. If they still have good commentators on radio, that would be my recommendation, fish, work or plow while the boys play ball.

Any problems with the app?

I thought about signing up this year, but haven't pulled the trigger. We listened to the Royals on radio last weekend for a bit and it was kinda nice. I may just do that.

It's going to be interesting to see how the whole Royals/stadium thing shakes out now that the Jackson County voters said no to the proposal for a downtown stadium.

I get them on Cox cable.

From what I read on the stadium deal is there is still something like 6 years to come up with a solution, so they will poke around and try someplace else in the KC area.

It's early of course, but the starting pitching has been great.  They really need a legit close, Will Smith has lost 2 games for them so far.  Maybe he will come around, but they can't afford to let him blow many more games.
