The smallmouth were biting like crazy today.  Caught a bunch.  Ned rigs and 3.3 Keitechs on 1/4 oz heads.  No giants but caught some solid fish.

Some scattered stripers popping shad are around.

I itching to go. Bringing my camper/boat to Hickory Creek for four days next week. Hope I can report success similar to yours! May have to substitute LM for SM on the lower end.

Just so you know Quillback is a Beaver Lake smallmouth guru.  He can catch them anywhere in the water column especially when he is throwing a Keitech.
