Some are canceling their tours because they can’t sell tickets. And at these prices I don’t think it’s going to be get any better soon. Saw Metallica, in their prime, with my wife in 1991. Tickets were $100 total for two tickets. Saw U2 at a huge concert in old Busch Stadium in 1992. That ticket was $60 and were 7 rows from the stage. Was going to take my youngest daughter to see Green Day this summer but it’s at least a $1,000 for two tickets. But everything is expensive. Spent $1500 to watch one of the Chiefs losses last season. That was for 4 people. Over $400 of that was in ticketing fees. It’s just stupid anymore. We are greed screwing each other in the USA. Quillback, ColdWaterFshr and BilletHead 2 1

Here's a clip from the Houston show a few weeks ago. I'm gonna say it's too bad to be fake. 😉 Cell phones do up-close video pretty well, but the audio sucks. Hope it's better in person. With a capacity of 18K at Thunder Ridge, and a guesstimate average of $600 a head, that's over $10M gross... Bet Johnny gets as much of that as they do. Quillback 1 I can't dance like I used to.
Mitch f Posted June 12 Posted June 12 Mick is just a little Bantam Rooster strutting around 😂 "Honor is a man's gift to himself" Rob Roy McGregor
ColdWaterFshr Posted June 12 Posted June 12 I love the Stones, and always will. Saw them 30 years ago at Faurot Field. They were old THEN and the tickets were expensive, but not insane. It still sucked. Mick looks completely foolish trying to strut around like his old days. It would be painful to watch for free, any seat in the house. James Taylor at $27 packed a lot more punch. An icon, not embarrassing himself. Robert Cray at the Sheldon coming up . . . now thats more like it. Small venue, up close, reasonable tickets, no strutting and pretending to be 23 . . . just pure talent with focus on musical performance. Quillback 1
