Big M area, May 30

The fishing was a little off today compared to a couple of days ago.  Not as much top water activity, and the fish were a little harder to find.  Bite died around 0900 too.

Caught a little over 20 bass, several on top, one on a c-rig and the rest on 3.3 Keitechs.

Heard the cicadas for the first time on TR for me, they were in the woods on the other side of the lake from Big M.

That still sounds like a good day.  
I went  back looking for the  shad spawn and found them again.  This time though they were spawning on floating debris in the middle of the cove.   Fish would occasionally take one but not consistently.   I only caught one early on a spittin image.   Literally 2nd cast.   I thought it was gonna be on.    But it wasn’t.😂.   My hot streak came to an end.
