Quillback
I'm not going to float, I don't trust my back in a yak. However I might make it to the takeout, just to say hi. Just need an estimate on when folks are planning to reach the takeout. Might be worth bringing a small grill and burning some dogs if there's enough room for that and if ya'll are interested. ness, dan hufferd and BilletHead

I’m not a floater either, but if there’s a get-together with food and fellowship afterward, I’d be interested in that if the stars align. Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted August 7 Root Admin Share Posted August 7 I changed the title. Dan, you might edit the first post to include any details about the float, to date, so that ppl don't have to search for specifics. Appreciate you organizing it. I'm hoping to go... I need to find a suitable water vessel. BilletHead and dan hufferd

dan hufferd
The time is nearing so I need a count of who is going so I can get the shuttle service figured out. Nothing is set in stone, I would like this to be low pressure, and fun, so don't feel obligated. After going through the thread these are the possible members participating. JDmidwest, Flysmallie, Terrierman, Coldwater Fshr, billethead x2, Phil Lilley, Wounded one, Bass yakker, Mitch F, Yaknar, Dan Hufferd and Wife. So that's 13 If you would like to add or subtract from this list please let me know ASAP. Thank you. Hopefully there is still water in the river, it's been dry ! I figure 1 mph @ 4.25 miles maybe 4 or 5 hrs due to fishing. say we get started at 9 at the latest that makes the take out time 1 pm. @Terrierman might be able to make a better estimate. Meet time 7am hl kerr, unload, drive to cox memorial access galena, shuttle to the launch, start float at the latest 9am.
