A hacker would have to kill the entire site. Illegally. Terrierman 1

I'm not into internet searching/data hacking but I'd be willing to bet that twenty bucks and ten minutes would be plenty to get that on nearly anyone. I do not have any knowledge or reviews of pay sites that remove your info for you. I went the DIY route. One because I wanted to learn the process, two because it was free to do other than my personal time. It takes a lot of time and effort to do but once you do you can fairly easily help stop any new things that pop up from time to time when you do searches of yourself. Below are some guides and info to help you if you want the DIY process. Free Guide: Remove personal information from the internet How To Protect Your Data And Remove Personal Info | Abine Have I Been Pwned: Check if your email has been compromised in a data breach How to Remove Your Information From the Web I tried to delete myself from the internet. Here's what I learned - CNN https://inteltechniques.com/data/workbook.pdf https://support.incogni.com/hc/en-us/sections/4904628648850-Data-Removal-Process Remove your personal information from Google - Google Search Help @fishinwrench You are correct that there is no scrubbing once the info is out there. I know some of my info is already out there on the Dark Web. But I do this process to not only "try" to keep hackers from my info but also the general public. Unless you are on the Dark Web searching for data files sold with info, but most individuals avoid the Dark Web and just use any search engine. For things on the Dark Web I use a service called LifeLock to help handle situations of Identity Theft where my info was used to create loans, credit, etc. It monitors the dark web for me and informs me when my info has been compromised. Plus they have a knowledgeable staff and legal team to assist with straightening things out when my identity is stolen. I think that is money well spent, but that is my opinion. It also lets you know what possible fraud items that pop up on your financial accounts, credit reports, etc. It is also like and insurance policy where you are covered for a certain amount of coverage depending on plan type. Now days, and I am sure you have seen it, anytime a your data is leaked from other businesses databases you will get a email from them where you can set yourself up for either free or paid credit monitoring services. LifeLock does that and a whole lot more. You can check it out if you want to make your own decisions on what it can do for you. Of course keep in mind that your mileage may vary. Now back to regular scheduling programing. Sorry for the interruption but I like to see everyone know and use safe practices on the internet. Nothing worse then someone uninformed and do something that costs them their life savings or identity. snagged in outlet 3 1 Anthony Linhardt
Flysmallie Posted September 10 Posted September 10 Lots of good stuff on the dark web that doesn’t involve hacking. But yeah, most people have no business there.
