Daryk Campbell Sr Posted November 13 Author Posted November 13 I am not sure on the ignition timing indicator. Not sure how to tell to be honest. I've set timing on older v8 engines plenty. What am I looking for? Is TDC measured by the top or bottom piston? Money is just ink and paper, worthless until it switches hands, and worthless again until the next transaction. (me) I am the master of my unspoken words, and the slave to those that should have remained unsaid. (unknown)

Daryk Campbell Sr Posted November 23 Author Posted November 23 The last few weekends have been occupied with kid's events, so I couldn't do much to Frankenstein. I got busy this evening after work. I was able to remove the power head, as well as the lower unit. Tomorrow I will install the replacement power head, clean and rebuild the carburetor and the fuel pum, as well as replacing the impeller and housing. Gonna order the forgotten thermostat, then he should be ready to run strong.
