How was the food?

Spectacular!
always a great Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. If you wanted to stay out fishing for the day, you just had to ask and they would get you some lunch food options to make/pack for the cooler on your boat for the day.
Here is a small sample from one day. 5 star as far as I was concerned.... They even cooked the Caiman tail from an evening Caiman hunt

Was the big boat in rough water?   I get seasick.  Or was it in calm water?  Thx for the report!

15 pound peacocks on bass tackle!!   I’m all about that.

Hopefully Eirc makes it to Taneyfest, and I get a chance to talk to him.  Didn't see any pictues of arapaima, but that's another explosive top water fish.  Watched a fishing show a few years ago where they went after arapaima, they really had to bushwhack to get back to where they were.

@N9BOW Eric what a great trip. Thanks for the report. Those peacocks make our Miami peacocks look like babies😉! I could imagine just dropping down some cut baits for any number of predatory or catfish species while having dinner😉😁. Or also spending some time in some small trib creek catching tetras or other micros.

it was pretty calm. when the storms came in the little johns were a bit rough when you were out there.. the big boat was anchored on an island in the middle of the river the whole trip so it really never moved unless it was stormy.
