It’s really satisfying to be totally right. The sucky part was missing out on the food you guys enjoyed. 😀 It's not a bunch of picky eaters for sure. Yes, there was a lot of food made, but there was a lot consumed. If you spend all day fishing, then you miss out on some food. Came back in for a fried crappie lunch Saturday, but too late, it was gone. Thought I could fall back on Phil's brisket, but no, it was gone. Don't fall for the "we made too much food" story. If you're not there when it comes out of the fryer, grill, or pot, then you are out of luck. BilletHead, ness, Ryan Miloshewski and 3 others 4 2
Ryan Miloshewski Posted February 5 Posted February 5 Yea there is a lot of food, but I agree with Jeff. I brought 75 crappie fillets thinking that'd be enough to serve as snacks with the rest of the dishes. It was gone in about 30 min lol. I forgot how much people like fried crappie. @ness you just need to go next year and experience it for yourself. I can take you out fishing! I got to "test" several pieces of crappie and turkey before anybody else. 😁 Terrierman, gotmuddy, Quillback and 3 others 5 1

Don't get me wrong, he's not out of control, or trying to be. Adventures just seem to find his boat. There is a legend about fishing in a boat with DJ, but that's something you will have to attend to learn. @Seth, I haven't heard any stories about net mishaps lately. Man, I really am bummed out about missing out. I'm just really starting to feel better. Oh well, I got lots of plans for the spring.
