BilletHead Posted Monday at 02:31 PM Posted Monday at 02:31 PM I have something we all should do today, Get yourself a jar with a tight-fitting lid. Go outside and take a deep breath and exhale it into the jar, quickly put the lid back on the jar. Put this jar in the freezer. This summer when you go fishing or any outdoor activity when it is sweltering hot and humid take this jar out and put it in your cooler. When you are so uncomfortable and think you will pass out from the heat get that jar out and open it. Instead of inhaling the contents all at once put a straw into it and take tiny hits so it lasts longer. Take time to think about the day you filled the jar, a chill will run through your body. 😉 Terrierman, basska, Quillback and 1 other 4 "We have met the enemy and it is us", Pogo If you compete with your fellow anglers, you become their competitor, If you help them you become their friend" Lefty Kreh " Never display your knowledge, you only share it" Lefty Kreh "Eat more bass and there will be more room for walleye to grow!" Members basska Posted Monday at 03:17 PM Members Posted Monday at 03:17 PM Yesterday I saw the sun shining, and thought I might try some dock fishing for Crappie. Needless to say, the sun was just a mirage. No fishing! Hoping for a warm February. Quillback, BilletHead and Johnsfolly 3

Good idea, I think I will spend some time at the vice this morning. When it warms up some I need to go to town for more pellets for the pellet stove. It's eating them up. Dutch Posted Monday at 03:58 PM Posted Monday at 03:58 PM I don’t carry a cooler so I don’t have a place for the jar. I do carry one of these https://www.amazon.com/Arctic-Air-Freedom-Personal-Cooler/dp/B08SHJ47JL/ref=asc_df_B08SHJ47JL?mcid=fafa201d1dc7310b843259558b79a211&tag=hyprod-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=693415508633&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=10080510061110911033&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=t&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=1020569&hvtargid=pla-1303423860657&psc=1 kjackson and Quillback 2
ness Posted Monday at 07:07 PM Posted Monday at 07:07 PM We bottomed out at 2 this morning. It's about 16 now and pretty windy. About half the snow is gone on the grass but the piles we made when we shoveled are still pretty tall. I'd guess 12 inches in the biggest part of the piles. John
Terrierman Posted Monday at 11:32 PM Posted Monday at 11:32 PM 1 here when we got up. It's amazing that we still have a fair bit of snow in shaded areas. And of course, in the driveway. Kind of a throwback winter so far. Plenty of cold for sure.
