Flysmallie Posted 21 hours ago Posted 21 hours ago If any of you would spend that much please call my office to book your trip. I’ve caught a double digit bass and didn’t spend that on the whole week. BilletHead 1
Quillback Posted 21 hours ago Posted 21 hours ago I would not but it is not that far out of line. A full day with a guide on one of the Ozark lakes will run about $600 these days. snagged in outlet 3, tjm, BilletHead and 1 other 4
fishinwrench Posted 20 hours ago Posted 20 hours ago I would rather get bit by four 3lbers than one 12. BilletHead, tjm and ness 2 1

I believe that back when you started but with today's fishing pressure could you repeat that? 17 minutes ago, Quillback said: I would not but it is not that far out of line. BilletHead Posted 20 hours ago Author Posted 20 hours ago Ok another thing to consider is. I do realize this sport is a hobby but how many of us I mean you that fish tourneys have caught double digit bass and are trying to win expenses? I like to catch bass and do chase them with the fly rod. I have made eight pounds here in Missouri. Just catching fish and eating a few including pond bass. Just myself and if I wanted to make a double-digit bass it would be cheaper to make that trip than count all the bucks, I have spent fishing. AND I am cheap in that sport compared to anyone that has a boat that is over 12 grand. This is not a dig at anyone it is just food for thought. If you can do it, just do it. Most of you on here would not drive halfway across this country to catch a native trout in its natural range but we will. Still have less in those trips compared to the new fishermen and women. tjm 1 "We have met the enemy and it is us", Pogo If you compete with your fellow anglers, you become their competitor, If you help them you become their friend" Lefty Kreh " Never display your knowledge, you only share it" Lefty Kreh "Eat more bass and there will be more room for walleye to grow!" Certainly your chances would be better to catch a 10+. But if I'm going to spend a $K fishing, I'd go up north to one of the smallie lakes. BilletHead and snagged in outlet 3 2

If anything was a guarantee I would be suspicious that and would it be a real challenge. It would be like a high fence hunt. I would like to catch a nice smallmouth also. Dutch Posted 20 hours ago Posted 20 hours ago If guaranteed I would in a heartbeat. I’m thinking $100 per pound wouldn’t be out of line. BilletHead 1
