MObassin95 Posted April 11 Posted April 11 Thoughts? I would want to make sure they actually break down in the environment before buying a bunch. https://www.wired2fish.com/fishing-industry-news/johnny-morris-introduces-biobait Daryk Campbell Sr 1
Quillback Posted April 11 Posted April 11 Knowing my fellow bass fishermen like I do, I doubt anyone, including myself, will buy a soft plastic based on its biodegradability. The big question will be - does it catch fish? kjackson, Daryk Campbell Sr, snagged in outlet 3 and 1 other 4
jdmidwest Posted April 11 Posted April 11 You put soft plastics together in tackle box, they start degraded in one lump of goo. snagged in outlet 3 Posted April 11 Posted April 11 I gotta be honest. Lately I’ve been thinking I should wear rubber gloves when I handle soft baits. And I’ve never bitten the end off a plastic bait. They gotta be poisonous right? Quillback 1

top_dollar Posted April 11 Posted April 11 I think its a great idea. I know that bass and other fish swallow plastics. I've cleaned bass before with swollen worms in their guts, and I've seem them with soft plastics coming out of their rear. Ill try a few packs and see if they work. Looks like they are 5.99 a pack which is fairly cheap. tjm 1

By PM of course, don't want the other guys catching on. 😄 top_dollar, kjackson, snagged in outlet 3 and 1 other 1 1 1 1
