Bill Babler Posted June 6 Posted June 6 Rained super hard for about an hour and a half this Morning with wind just howling. Gauge said 1.5 inches that we really didn’t need. Lake level looks like it will blow past 927 pretty easy today. cheesemaster 1 http://whiteriveroutfitters.com http://whiteriverlodgebb.com
Quillback Posted June 6 Posted June 6 Looks like the guessers are saying tonight and tomorrow is when the real rain is coming. Heck, we may see 930. On the bright side, the fry will have plenty of cover to hide in. Looked at the 10 day - Thursday next week another round could move in.
snagged in outlet 3 Posted June 6 Posted June 6 Nice gentle rain here for a couple-3 hours. Creek in the back of the cove barely a clear trickle. Level is just slowly creeping up.
Quillback Posted June 7 Posted June 7 Coming down now here in Bella Vista. It ended the terrible 8 hour drought we just suffered through, 😃 IkeLightner, snagged in outlet 3, shark bait and 1 other 1 3
snagged in outlet 3 Posted June 7 Posted June 7 I had my alarm set for 4 to go fishing. Woke up by thunder and lightning at 3:30. Looked at the radar and went back to sleep. We got quite a bit with another big front on the doorstep right now.
Bill Babler Posted June 7 Author Posted June 7 9am. Gauge says 3.75 inches the last 24 hours. I didn’t dump the total of 1.6 from yesterday. It’s still drizzling here at Hobbs Hollow, Shell Knob. We were going also to check the Yard Pattern. Not going, I just won’t pull the boat on a rainy hi way. Just fills it with road dirt and slime. Maybe Monday. Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted June 7 Root Admin Posted June 7 We should see spill gates at Beaver any minute I'd think. I see anywhere from 2.5 to 4 inches in NW Arkansas. Beaver is up past 1129 again. Then we'll see Table Rock jumping. Not sure if it'll go to 930 though. I think they'd start spill gates at TR before that happens. BS hasn't gotten the rain so it should be ok, for now. dan hufferd and snagged in outlet 3 2
snagged in outlet 3 Posted June 7 Posted June 7 That second one this morning was a doozy! It absolutely poured for about an hour.
Quillback Posted June 7 Posted June 7 Gates at Beaver are partially open, James and Kings are both shooting up. Looks like they are letting out 9,000 CFS from Table Rock, but there might be double that coming into the lake.
Bill Babler Posted June 8 Author Posted June 8 Look at this coming Wednesday nite thru next Tuesday. 6 days of 40% to 70%. Yikes. This pond may not get to exactly full pool until August. Maybe until Fall. Quillback 1 http://whiteriveroutfitters.com http://whiteriverlodgebb.com
