Does anyone know where I can get a guide replaced on a spinning rod (other than Bass pro) and without sending it somewhere?

Thanks,

Bob

Last I knew, Hook Line and Sinker here in Bella Vista will repair rods.  You have to drop it off and wait a few days.

Bobby, you can do this yourself with a book, a coffee cup, a razor blade and a video from Mudhole. You need a guide, some thread, and some epoxy. Were my eyes and fingers younger, I would do it myself.

search DIY fishing rod repair, there are videos on how to repair everything that can break. Doing as rps suggested above takes less than a half hour after the first time, if you pick up the broken rods left at fishing spots, you can harvest and reuse guides off them. Mud hole,  Jann's Netcraft, etc and some "bait shops" or "fly shops" will have guides and tiptops that you can buy a selection and have for next time. Rod winding thread from the same sources, but I have wrapped a guide with sewing thread when it was all I had. In addition to the thread, teacup, and book, you might want  a cardboard box to make the rod support from.

Looks like you found someone.

There is a tackle shop in Shell Knob (Hook and Catch???) that in the past, you could drop off your rod for repairs.   A local guy out of Shell Knob would do the repairs.   But, that’s been awhile since I had that rod repaired
