Members Righteous Posted February 5 Members Posted February 5 I'm brand new to the area having lived here now a little more than a year. Any tips of thoughts on the best artificial baits to use below the Bagnell dam for white bass and/or hybids. I'm all catch and release just looking for some fun.

I would start with these. https://tackle-max.com/collections/fugitive-swimbait?srsltid=AfmBOopZ-rkueyTKPJ0z_AVk5k1pbTwLWFAJuCfDVEZcak5LWkDpFsGH rps 1
Seth Posted February 5 Posted February 5 3-4" white swimbait on a ballhead jig (1/4-1/2oz depending on flow) is always where I start. Flicker shads work well too, but the sheer amount of paddlefish and asian carp make it hard to throw them because you are constantly snagging them. snagged in outlet 3, Ham and Terrierman 3
fishinwrench Posted February 6 Posted February 6 Here's a good place to start. You can throw it a mile, and it's a great fish finder. Rip&pause, Rip&pause, Rip&pause. rps, 96 CHAMP, Flysmallie and 2 others 5
Terrierman Posted February 6 Posted February 6 So is a 4" swimtail on the right weight jighead. I like a fiber hook guard on the jig. 1/4 low flow, 1/2 high flow.
