Quillback Posted February 22 Posted February 22 A game for the ages. I watch hockey, follow the Boston Bruins. Those guys played hard today, both teams really wanted the gold. I have a family connection to Matt Boldy who scored the first goal. My dad and Matt's grandpa were good friends and worked together when we lived in Massachusetts. We visited with them often. ness Posted February 22 Posted February 22 It's like we lost the game but outscored them.Very exciting. I've watched a little hockey but took some time to understand the rules for this one. The pace is incredible. What a game by goalie Hellebuyck. When Hughes caught it in the mouth and went down, and the announcer said he was picking up teeth, I assumed it was an old hockey phrase. Turned out he did lose some teeth. Hughes' interview was really good. All about American hockey brotherhood and pride in the USA. Quillback and BilletHead 2 John
