aarchdale@coresleep.com Posted March 4 Posted March 4 Been a while since I got to Bridgeport. Started out looking for crappie and caught a few. Started paralleling the bank with a little Spro crankbait and caught 20 bass in about 2 hours. 4 keepers. Mix of all 3 blacks. Biggest one was a 6.04 Largemouth all caught in 4 ft of water. it was a fun day. Water Temp 51-54. Also while going down the bank I saw a familiar looking hat that I lost about 7 months ago. So I grabbed it, and sure enough it was my hat that I got of Temu so I know it was mine lol. Lake if very low, be careful going up from Bridgeport and in Flat creek, lots of trees to avoid curtisce, Ron Burgundy, Greasy B and 8 others 11
curtisce Posted March 4 Posted March 4 good day for you. We were up near Shell Knob, we caught modest number all spots. nomolites, grizwilson, dpitt and 1 other 4 The answer may not lie at the bottom of a glass, but you should always check
aarchdale@coresleep.com Posted March 5 Author Posted March 5 It really was a perfect example of a Largemouth. I've only caught 2 on Table Rock over 6 and the other one was short and stubby, I think it was a really old fish 6.62 Quillback, BilletHead, SRV1990 and 2 others 5
rps Posted March 9 Posted March 9 I am like you. In 17 years living on the lake, I only caught 2 bass over 6. One was off the flat at Stubblefield Branch on a Top Dollar, somewhere around 2015. The other was my second largest ever. The Rapala spring scale (before digitals became common) said 8+. That one was in 2003 and came from the trees on the bluff side of where the Kings River enters the lake.
