Wake boat wave effects

Interesting video, show underwater effects of passing wake boats.  Out to 14 feet deep, and for several minutes after the boat has passed:

Interesting video. I was aware that they tear up the shoreline and bank, but didn't know the effect underwater.

Be interesting to see the same video for other boat types.

Wake boats are a menace with additional impacts of damage to docks and conflicts with other users. Might be fun but only to wake boat owners.

A guy in our condo association owns a wake boat company.   At times he’ll bring 2 or 3 in at a time.    The association has asked him not to use them in our cove due to the damage to the dock.   He gets 2-3 going around at a time and you can’t even walk on our dock it’s bucking up and down so bad.   Wake boats are one thing but the giant surf boats are even worse.  I get it.   I’m sure it’s loads of fun but dang it’s not good for everyone else.
