  1. You got me there. Traditionally I'm a bank better but I'm starting to explore deeper water. I don't think it matters as much with those deeper fish. Weather doesn't affect them as much.
  2. Not sure Table Rock is like Beaver but if it is there is sort of a golden rule to go by. Windy or overcast go to clear water. Blue bird or sunny go mid lake toward the rivers.
  3. Bull***t...You can be mine
  4. I gotta join in this quote business. Slider....(sniff)...You stink. That's right! Iceman.....I am dangerous
  5. Thanks for the kind words. I have a mechanic that I trust and will give me a better deal than anyone. He went to Yamaha school and used to work for a new boat dealer.
  6. http://www.lakeexpo.com/boating/thieves-are-stealing-a-surprising-part-off-boats-at-lake/article_e06a52b4-02b3-11e7-aab5-c776bdd13863.html
  7. Gonna piggy back this conversation with a Yamaha HPDI question. Hopefully someone will know. Can an 06 motor have a scanner hooked up to it to see what may have caused issue? If not there are several theories of what might have caused this. The engine has 279 hours. I have read about fuel injectors that might have caused it and I have read that there might be a recall on oil pumps. How would I know if the oil pump has been replaced already?
  8. It was a rough day for me. I finished 67th out of 188. Unfortunately I blew my motor at around 11am in the back part of Horse Creek. That's about 25miles from take-off. We were able to get towed from the back to the bridge at Horse Creek. From there we just waited for someone that had the same weigh in time that we had. I stayed with the boat and my Co-angler transport ed our fish in another competitors boat. After weigh in my Co brought my truck over to pick me up. Hopefully I can get boat fixed by April first. That's asking a lot this time of year though.
  9. During snow is a fantastic time to be ON the water. It fires up those fish for some reason.
  10. I guess all the talk on this forum had folks ordering like crazy. Mine were on back order and showed up today. Put them to use along with my Stinger #5 hooks for my warts.
  11. Hey. I might get to attend now. Have a tournament at Grand this Saturday. I don't have any tournaments on the dates you suggested. Hope to be able to attend. It's nice meeting you folks and I hated to miss. Plus I get a chance to kick Champ and Donna's butt. ?
  12. Action by Kimberling City. Be safe y'all.
  13. Thanks for sharing. Good luck the rest of the season!
  14. Those fish are fat! Thanks for sharing
  15. They look legit to me. I think you are ok.
  16. Let me know what part it is and I'll check it out and do a screenshot.
  17. Check EBay if you have an account. People that sell have feedback score. At least you will know if they are legit or not. If not EBay maybe Amazon Prime. If that doesn't help let me know. I have a buddy who is a dealer and can order just about anything.
  18. It makes sense to me Bo. Crawdads love mud! They burrow in it. Most anglers(myself included) have ingrained thought that bass love hard bottom come spring for bedding purposes. If you found hard bottom adjacent to mud flat that would be a money spot. Thanks for the info
  19. Brent Ehler won this time of year a few years ago throwing a grub in Owl Creek. I remember him talking about soaking them to change the color to a more milky white. It's funny how the grub is making a resurgence. Admittedly I have quit using it the last few years. I was at Hook,Line and Sinker the other day and there were a lot of jig heads and grubs being bought. Funny how fast word gets out. Hope the Mike and Mike guys finish on top.
  20. I knew it was right around the corner. This warm weather is turning them back on. I can't wait to get out there again.
  21. If you go up the Neosho be careful. Lots of trees to dodge.
  22. Thanks for the video. Good stuff.
  23. No A-rigs allowed was my first thought when I heard they were using swimbaits. I need to buy a few of those just in case. Pro Blue is a fantastic color in those Kietechs.
  24. Donna and Champ will be a tough duo when OaF tournament comes around. I don't really have a BFL that day. I'm just scared of these two sticks!?
