  1. Very nice! Those memories will last forever. Now, put those younguns on some bass like you caught on Monday and they will love you forever.
  2. Poor mans lobster!
  3. Beautiful bucks! Your brothers buck looks like it is crossed with a hereford. Do you have any idea what that beast weighed. I would have to shoot 2 Ozark bucks to equal that monster. Great job!!
  4. I hope you did better at deer camp than I have done down here. They tell me the numbers are up from last year, but you couldn't prove it by me.
  5. As tough as the bite is right now, the Ned might be a factor. I bet not many of these guys can fish that slow. We ALL know what that bait is capable of doing when the going gets tough!
  6. Thanks! good report and great pictures. We are soooo blessed!!!!
  7. Predict a tough bite. 38.7 lbs for the winner.
  8. Looks like a Rock Bass to me! That's what us old Yankee boys called them.
  9. LOVE it!!! That's what we need in this country today. Leaders that know HOW to lead. God help our country!!!
  10. Love it!! If you weren't a husker fan, you'd be perfect!!!
  11. I love it! Sometimes a demonstration is required!! Evidently, they weren't raised on a farm.
  12. Bill Beck did a great job explaining how to fish a flutter spoon. He touched briefly on how to fish a vertical jigging spoon. It's been my experience that the vertical presentation of a jigging spoon is MORE effective at certain times of the year. I use the vertical method, anytime the bass are 15 ft or deeper, using a short snap of the wrist and follow the spoon down on a semi-tight line (most hits are on the fall). If you search this forum for spoon fishing, you will find a ton of information.
  13. Just HATE the W word!!!!!
  14. Remember Cody..............Champ would throw a blade in a large mud puddle............it's in his genes.
  15. Great job! What's the deal...............fish are biting and no Donna???
  16. Very nice Donna! That resembles a Grand Lake bass!
  17. I think they are both KVD wannabes. His paycheck might have been a little larger...........maybe worth the pain.
  18. This is one rule that should be changed. It simplifies everyone's interpretation of trolling. First of all I don't think any type of trolling or strolling is that big of a advantage and if there was no any rules regarding this issue, I bet most people wouldn't do it anyway. Now back to Jim's original question: Topwater, white jigging spoon, white flutter spoon, jig, and shakey head.
  19. I know several guys who change out wart hooks. They use mustad triple grip hooks and go up 1 size on the rear hook. Like Babbler says, ALWAYS a better mouse trap. My personal experience is not a problem, unless it's a real old wart with rusty hooks.
  20. Thanks for the responses! I don't feel quite as bad now, as others are also struggling to find them too.. They can be even more elusive than our LM at times.
  21. I heard they were all girls!
  22. Has anyone found any whites this summer. I had a real good Spring, fishing for whites on the James and Kings rivers. Normally I can find them on some deep breaks, jerking a spoon or see them chasing on top. This year it's like they've disappeared, at least for me.
  23. Good job! That's a nice bonus fish!
  24. WOW!! That is awesome! It make sense as it relates to water temps and distance from the dam.
