  1. @Quillback a very youthful 65. Good for you. I hope I make it there.
  2. I wish I could buy a Lifetime National Fishing License for $5000 and never have to worry about it again. Somebody get me Donald Trump on the Phone. I think I can talk him into having a Fishing Golden Ticket.
  3. I have to wait a little longer to get the Lifetime in Arkansas. I bought Lifetime in Louisiana before I moved away. I don’t think Missouri has an out of state Lifetime License.
  4. For you Out of State SOB’s like me, it’s time to renew your Missouri Fishing Licenses. I’m going to hold off on getting a Trout Permit for now so somebody will need to remind me if I meet y’all at Bennett, Taney, or Roaring River.
  5. Other than your car problems, you had a good day. You caught fish. You learned stuff. You found out on your own rather than second hand. Take a picture of those “sucker like” fish you caught next time. I’d love to know what you caught.
  6. I’ve caught 2 and a 9 lb 13 oz. I’m not hiring a guide for bass fishing.
  7. 64. I quit early.
  8. I caught em. a mix of spinning and fly. A good day to be on the water.
  9. Mine are in the mail headed to Nixa
  10. I'm disappointed Crosby didn't get the Game Winner, but you can't have everything.
  11. I’ve seen some really Large ones in The Big Stinky oxbow. I really hope to get one to hand. they are large enough that I’ll have to beach them or buy a Musky cradle

    BS dam 2-17

I’m Glad that you got out for the last poke at them for a little while. I’ll have to wait and see, but I might go try Friday afternoon.
  13. It ain’t always easy. Sometimes it’s a grind to get a single bite. Enjoy your harvest!
  14. All the games have been good. The players actually give a crap. I’m not sure that they are even getting paid to play. I wanted Canada to beat USA for the drama, but I have players I like in all four teams I’m pretty sure that I’ll have to work the night of the Championship game. Typical.
  15. The Dang things work so well too!
  16. Hey! With this intell, I might be able to get Krista to travel up there
  17. Great Work Pat!
  18. Ok, I had a rainout day so I got my 9 flys for the swap ready to go. I’m just waiting on an address to mail them in. I cleared room in my mailbox in case that’s how you who prefer to distribute your address its a Size 18 barbless Ruby Midge. Tied on TMC 100 BL and Tungsten 3/32 bead
  19. I got to fish with Richard a little bit. I never had a bad trip fishing with him.
  20. I’ll try to get mine turned around quickly
  21. I’ll be trying for Big Gills at Duck Creek and Big Redears at Bella Vista with @Quillback (I hope).
  22. Well, misbehaving locals are often a problem. I’ve only been a couple of times and I go when it’s the off season. The aquatic grasses are present, but the water lillies have died back. I had a good time. I might go again from time to time, but it will always be between 11/15 and 02/15.
  23. Road isn’t perfect, but not too too bad. I used the day use area, but I think the campground was ok. Lillies had died back, but plenty of grass to fish over and around. The crappies ran small (too small for me to harvest) and they seemed slender. I did not see a single minnow. I wish MDC would add about 10 lbs of Golden Shiners. I think the Golden Shiners could get established in the skinny grassy stuff. When they wanted to get eaten, all they would have to do is go out into the deeper water.
