Viruses are not equal, some are fairly stabke and some mutate easily. Usually the ones that mutate easily tend to mutate themselves out of virulence and burn themselves out. However there is always a chance for it to mutate into one that is extremely deadly. Viruses are a scary and fascinating little parasites or whatever the proper description might be.

The thing about gumbo is even the so so oes are usually still good. I still make jambalaya occasionally. I make pancakes every Sunday, mom will always eat a pancake. Bisquick, cinnamon, vanilla, and coca cola or sprite. Maybe blueberries if I have them. Used to put the blueberries in a smiley face pattern, always made my daughters day. I like blackberry, straybwrry, or raspberry jam, or better yet peach butter, on them better than syrup but occasionally I have a need for a rich, buttery, sweet syrup. Of course a pancake ain't nothing without a fried egg on top so that the yolk runs over everything when you cut it it.

There will be a run on masks and handsanitizer that will make a pre snowstorm run on bread mil and beer look small. Fortunately being from a while family of nurses we have some, though I am not likey to wear a mask, makes it too hard to spit tobacco juice while fishing. I remember being in New eats after the hurricane and you couldn't buy hand sanitizer at any price, but there were pallets of isopropyl Alcahol for like 99 cents each, worked great and every just walked by them.

Oneshot, I think if you get the Corona virus that we as friends on OA are going to have to draw straws to see who has to put you down. 😉

Likely true but I sure caught a lot of fish in creeks and rivers on a "do nothing" rig long before I ever heard of Elaztech. Now o have a whole box dedicated to Ned and don't use it, but by golly I have it. Of course I also have a whopper popper I bought during chemo recovery that has never seen water. Some day, some day.

Heavy dose antibiotic always mess with your stomach. They do the same thing ro the good flora that lives in your guts that it does to an infection. So you get to ride rhe porcelin throne until yu are able to build it back. Pro biotic yogurt like activia does help. We will have to agree to disagree on the value of regular doctor visits and health screenings. However yiu do need to use some common sense when they say things like you seem tense and anxious, we and re gonna try some anti depression/anxiety meds. Nope we are NOT going to try that, I won't go it th conversation I had with my sons teacher when she reccomended we have him evaluated for ADHD and consider medicating him. Short version is I told them, no he isn't ADHD, he is simply bored out of his freaking mind doing stuff at the level you are teaching. My wife wouldn't let me go to any more teaher meetings until the next year.

But when it's over you will want to catch it again an hour later.

Heck I read about Ned Rigs for months thinking, nah I don't need any new fangles gizmos. Finally looked it up, crap same stuff I have used for years, didnt know it "cool" name. I will usually Google search for stuff I don't know, but sometimes you get a whole list of items that are not even close.

Note to self. If I ever go to FW place bring own food. Surely he can't make cold beer sound bad.

Before pick of some venison tenderloins, tenderizer and seasoned before their date with the cast iron skillet. And the after pic, got them a bit more done that I like but them little rascals is tough to sear without overcooking, and they were not up to room temp first either, but still tasty. Wife added some cheesy corn and green beans.

No ethanol
MOPanfisher replied to Scott Keling's topic in Tips & Tricks, Boat Help and Product Review
I think a lot of people buy premium grade fuel thinking it is Ethanol Free. Just because it's premium don't mean it's ethanol free. Plus I know at leaSt one person who used Ethano Free fuel and then added I believe it was a mercury fuel system cleaner, which was mosy Alcahol, might be a different Alcahol that I don't know. I would like to test some from where I get fuel.just to see. Where does one get a tester and hiw much is it. -

No ethanol
MOPanfisher replied to Scott Keling's topic in Tips & Tricks, Boat Help and Product Review
I always use ethanol free just because it doesn't hurt anything. I have had ethanol fuel separate in my leaf blower. The guy working on it simply poured the fuel out into a clear jar and it was pretty easy to see. I dumped it out poured in fresh fuel and life was good again. Annoying in a leaf blower or weedeater, more so in a boat motor. I even siphon out the old ethanol free fuel from.my boat tank and go back with fresh fuel in the spring, sadly I don't use my boat enough to keep the fuel all the time, it also gets some sea foam in the spring because again I don't think it hurts a thing and I have it around usually. -
Proper Catch & Release
MOPanfisher replied to dgilchrist's topic in Beaver Tailwater/Upper White River
Well that's just silly, gigged smallies don't go on a stringer. Now ones you get with a spear gun that's different. Overall large fish probably shouldn't be held horizontally by the lower jaw, smaller fish unless you are really putting some torque on them probably are fine. I generally lip them and remove the hook and toss back. For things I don't want to stick my fingers in like walleye they get a rapala grip or by the gills since if they are big enough they don't go back. Almost never do I put a hand under their belly for a photo, partly because I just don't think about it, and mostly because I seldom catch a fish worthy of such a pic. -

Well they only have one unit so yeah it's basocally either all or none. It is a lot of water in that channel when running.

What Are The Fishing Regulations On The Buffalo?
MOPanfisher replied to Phil Lilley's topic in Buffalo River
I shudder to think what a person would have to do to get kicked out of Louisiana and not allowed back. -
https://www.swpa.gov/generationschedules.aspx But remember it's just a projected schedule, they may have a need earlier or not need the generation at all.

More breakfast love. Off work today, wife had to go to the city, so. . . I made breakfast for mom. 2 egg omlette with turkey breast, cheese and green onion. Couple pieces of toast with grape jelly, and a couple of big ole strawberries chunked up. Decaf coffee and some cherry/cranberry juice. Should hold her for a while, always think she cant eat it, but she will get it done slowly. Can't wait for real strawberries.

My wife knows if she gets overly nagging about something I will take a knee and sit there until I die before I do it.
